The following information regarding a 2024/2025 Academic Year scholarship opportunity is provided to potential student applicants.  The scholarship award is $1,000.  Deadline for submission of all required application materials is July 1, 2024.

Trooper Clarence Jolivet

January 3, 1926 - April 20, 2009

The Clarence Jolivet Scholarship honors the legacy of Trooper Clarence Jolivet, a dedicated educator and community leader who made significant contributions to the Tucson Unified School District in Arizona. Born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, Trooper Jolivet graduated from Nogales High School before furthering his education at both The University of Arizona and Arizona State University.

Throughout his 30-year tenure with the Tucson Unified School District, Trooper Jolivet served as both a teacher and counselor, impacting countless lives through his commitment to education and mentorship. Additionally, he was an active member of the GSAA Chapter of the 9th and 10th Cavalry, demonstrating his dedication to serving his community beyond the classroom.

The Clarence Jolivet Scholarship seeks to support students who embody Trooper Jolivet's spirit of service, leadership, and academic excellence. Recipients of this scholarship will be recognized for their commitment to education and their potential to positively impact their communities, reflecting the values and legacy of  Trooper Jolivet.
